Dansk TJORN Sterling Silver Serving Spoon Gravy Ladle NEW 7 5/8 inches 65 grams

This beautiful sterling silver serving spoon was made by Dansk beginning in 1959 and was discontinued in 1968. The pattern name is Tjorn. The designer was the famous Dane - Jens Harald Quistgaard, who was the main designer for Dansk.

The entire spoon is Sterling Silver, as marked on the the back of the handle (see photo). Dansk calls this spoon a Gravy Ladle, but it could be used for many things. Kirk made 2 sizes of this spoon. This one is the larger size, and measures 7 5/8 inches long and 3 1/4 inches wide. It weighs 65 grams (see photo).
